2022 Intrada Sauvignon Blanc
Age-ability may not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Sauvignon Blanc, but when left to evolve, our singular white wine shows a roundness that gently offsets the crisp acidity of this 94% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Semillon blend.
"The 2022 was a great growing season for Intrada. The flavors developed beautifully on the vine and we were able to pick before the heat hit in September. The mix of clones in the two vineyards, and our mix of fermentation vessels in the cellar, created an energetic and complex Intrada. We fermented and aged 50% of the lot in concrete eggs, 30% in stainless steel, and 20% in neutral French oak barrels. Every sip is fresh and vividly layered like a springtime walk through the best kind of garden."
Gianna Ghilarducci, Winemaker

2021 Caladan Proprietary Red Wine
The 2021 Proprietary Red Wine is an expressive blend of Bordeaux varieties from all four of our primary mountain appellations: Diamond Mountain, Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain District, and Mount Veeder. Composed of 52% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 13% Petit Verdot, and 9% Malbec. The 2021 Proprietary Red expresses dark chocolate and deep cherry layered with evocative forest floor aromatics and toasted bread notes, integrated with an excellent texture. Ready to drink now or built to age for decades to come.

2021 Caladan Cabernet Franc
The 2021 Caladan Cabernet Franc is sourced from all four mountain appellations, leading with our prized Yverdon Vineyard on Spring Mountain. This wine displays balanced red and dark fruit, accented by rose petal and orange blossom, and pronounced minerality with a very fine tannin structure.

"Wow- what a perfume! Evocative scents of kirsch, dried roses, cinnamon toast, and redcurrant preserves jump from the glass, followed by nuances of cardamom, fertile loam, mint tea, and pencil lead. The full-bodied palate is so bright and fragrant, with firm, beautifully ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with epic length and loads of mineral sparks. This is stunning!"

2021 Cardinale Cabernet Sauvignon
Each year, Cardinale crafts a single, limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley's renowned mountain appellations to create a wine that expresses the character of the vintage and Napa Valley at its best. The 2021 vintage holds many stories, including joyfully mild weather, small yields of phenomenal fruit, and the histories of 14 vineyards. It also has its own narrative of bright fruit driven by a core of blueberry, cassis, dark chocolate-covered espresso bean, Asian spice, and graphite.

“The perfect 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon checks in as 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot, all of which spent 22 months in 80% new French oak. The idea of this release is to showcase fruit from throughout the valley, and to say that winemaker Chris Carpenter succeeded would be an understatement. It boasts off-the-charts richness and depth as well as notes of cassis, toasted spices, graphite, tobacco, and espresso, with perfectly integrated oak. Inky purple-hued, full-bodied, voluptuously textured, and flawlessly balanced, it can be drunk any time over the coming 25 years or more.”
