W.S. Keyes Vineyard
Howell Mountain AVA - blah blah
The W.S. Keyes® Vineyard is situated at a 1,700-foot elevation on Howell Mountain in the Vaca Range on the eastern side of Napa Valley. The cold climate, red rocky soils, and volcanic ash impart dark fruit flavors, firm tannins, and earthy, mineral-like characteristics.
The fruit from W.S Keyes Vineyard contributes to the body of Cardinale. Aromatically and on the palate, much of the upfront Cabernet essence is derived from Howell, as are the blackberry, cassis, and herbal notes.
